Celebrate the diversity of our community with a day of music, dance, food & drink, and activities for all ages!!
September 29th will be a day of celebration as we welcome amazing world music performers, dance troupes, and food vendors from across Iowa and the Midwest to downtown Ottumwa. The event will take place on the 300 block of East Main Street, with food vendors and shopping lining the street and our main stage set up for professional musical groups and dance troupes representing cultures from Latin America, Africa, SE Asia, and the Phillipines.
Featuring performances from the Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl dance troupe, Filipino-American performers the Vida Sisters, Andean folk music band Son Peruchos, and Algeria-native and Fairfield resident Amine Kouider and his band.
